Using the latest synthetic and purification technologies, NOF manufactures and supplies highly purified phospholipid derivatives (COATSOME Series) suitable for lipid emulsion formulations and liposome formulations which are extensively used for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Concerning the phospholipids for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, various kinds and grades of such phospholipids are readily available. In addtion, we can respond to requests from our customers by tailor-made synthesis of any phospholipids with the desired structures. For the benefit of easy liposome binding of the drugs at the customers' facilities, NOF provides empty liposome kits, liposomal formulations and liposomal drugs delivery systems. When PEGylated phospholipids are used as liposomes, the aqueous layer can coat the liposome surface, whereby the liposome preparations encapsulating drugs within them can be stably dispersed in aqueous solutions.
