Business Overview
The Electronic Materials Business was established as an independent business division in 2001 to
supply NOF's range of high-performance products to customers in the cutting-edge IT and electronics fields.
These products were created using two key technologies-the graft polymerization and blocked acid hardening
techniques. Both techniques received awards for chemical technology from the Chemical Society of Japan.
In the fast-moving world of electronic materials, this business is aggressively developing new technologies
and markets by focusing on key products such as LCD materials, soldering equipment materials,
high-frequency circuit products and lithium battery electrolytes, all designed to become
the de facto standard in leading-edge fields.
The Electronic Materials Business will continue to seek out new challenges as part of its efforts
to supply the IT and electronics fields with groundbreaking high-performance materials created using
advanced technologies.
